The winding roads

In the hotel's "backyard" you will find 43 hectares of park, forest and beach. Wonderful surroundings, offering a network of more than 20 km of original paths - perfect for long walks where your thoughts can run free.

The founders of Vejlefjord, Dr. Christian Saugman, believed that fresh air and exercise were important elements in the treatment of tuberculosis patients, and therefore in 1901 the large park was built in a romantic landscape style with bridges, streams and lakes in the very hilly landscape right down to Vejle Fjord.

Today you can follow in Saugman's footsteps and follow the paths around the beautiful surroundings, where historical sights can be found on the marked paths. Find a map of the paths below.

Help us take care of the smiling nature

When you are in nature, please walk on the marked paths and paths, so you look after the plants that grow in the forest floor and on the vulnerable slopes along the fjord. Really good trip.
